BUILT TO LAST

The foundation of all RMT™ Angle Rolls is a solid, industrial strength frame precisely formed and precision welded made from mill-certified, high-yield steel. As a result, RMT™ Angle Rolls perform accurately and reliably year after year. We’re so confident in our frames that we offer a 10-year warranty with our standard machines. The inner workings are heat treated and induction hardened to provide long life and consistent repeatability in forming parts.

BEND EFFICIENTLY

RMT™ machines are designed with state-of-the-art technologies that provide unparalleled accuracy and precision. This is the result of our world-class Research and Development departments that has been constantly perfecting our machines for decades, allowing us to consistently outperform our competitors’ machines year after year.

BEND ACCURATELY

If it takes you three times as long to fix your parts as it did to create them, you have the wrong machine. Even a half decent machine can bend a part, but it takes a quality machine to be able to bend reliably and repeatedly without having to take further time and effort to “fix” your parts. RMT™ angle rolls are engineered to exact specifications to provide real value to your operation.
BEAM BENDING

BEAM BENDING

If only bending I beams was as easy as Superman makes it look. It isn’t. However, with RMT™ angle rolls you will have the ability to accurately and easily bend I beams, H beams, and just about any other structural steel shape. Our engineers have really put time and effort into creating the right solution for structural steel.

RMT ANGLE ROLL WEB REV25
  • Do I need specific tooling for a RMT angle roll?

The rolls are supplied with versatile tooling that will cover most flat surfaces like square tubing, flat bar, angle and channel. Round shapes and odd profiles require specific tooling which RMT can supply.

  • How do I measure and order angle roll dies?

    To measure angle roll dies:
    – Measure the die opening (gap) with calipers.
    – Measure the included angle using a protractor or digital angle gauge.
    – Measure die height and thickness.
    – Record any die radius if present.
    – Ensure these dimensions match your material to get accurate bends and avoid die damage.

  • How do I choose the right capacity/model?

    Consider these factors:

    – The largest profile size you need to roll (angle leg size, beam section, tube diameter).
    – The material type and its yield/strength (higher strength materials require more machine rigidity).
    – The shape complexity (simple curves vs multi-radius vs structural beam bends).
    – The throughput and production frequency (occasional use vs heavy production).
    – The space and budget you have (smaller A-ECO models for light work, A-GIANT for heavy).

RMT’s sales engineers can help map your specs to the appropriate series.

  • What customizations or optional features are available?

Horizontal/vertical working orientation for better handling. CNC/NC controls for complex bend programs (especially on AB-4 CNC model). Specialized tooling for tubes, pipes, I-sections, H-sections, extrusions, helical stair rails, etc. Universal die sets included, with optional premium tooling for difficult profiles.

  • What maintenance or service proficiency should I expect?

Basic maintenance: keep rolls and bearings properly lubricated, ensure the hydraulic (or motor) system is maintained, periodically check roll surfaces and universal tooling.

Because RMT machines use rugged components and hardened/ground rolls, you should benefit from longer life and consistent performance.

RMT backs the machines with tooling/support and has a parts inventory.

  • What safety and operator usability features are built in?

All three rolls are driven (for the hydraulic models) and the frame and roll geometry are designed for minimal slip and better hold-down during bending.

Digital read-outs, NX/NC control options, mobile control panels, and portable operator stations help usability and visibility.

Because the machines are built for structural steel, features like strong braking systems and heavy frames enhance operator safety and production reliability.

  • What is the expected return on investment (ROI)?

With the ability to bend profiles more accurately and efficiently, you reduce manual labor, scrap/waste, and secondary operations.

Especially for structural or high-volume bending, the right RMT Angle Roll can pay for itself through improved productivity and quality.

Plus, RMT’s built-in quality and strong warranty (e.g., 10-year frame warranty) add long-term value.

  • What materials can the machines handle?

They can handle: mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, bronze, brass, copper and other alloys. Standard tooling handles many profiles; optional tooling allows even more exotic profiles, pipes, extrusions.

  • What about profiles such as I-beams and H-beams?

The heavy-duty A-GIANT series (and some A-FAB larger models) are built for structural steel bending (I-section, H-section) and can be equipped with special tooling to handle these difficult shapes.

  • What support does RMT provide after purchase?

RMT offers parts & tooling support, a service network, and custom tooling build-out.
