S-GENIUS HSC™ 4

  • Automatic Servo Feed Cold Saw
  • Round Cutting Capacity .78″ – 4″

Description

-Mass production in continuous operation is done by S-GENIUS HSC™ Cold Saws, when producing cut-off pieces of steel and non-ferrous metals. They are designed to be used with TCT (Carbide Tipped) circular saw blade in order to cut solid bars in high speed and excellent accuracy.

-It is also suitable for HSS blades to cut tubes. S-GENIUS HSC™ Cold Saws come standard with 31″ (800m) index stroke servo feeding and 20 feet (6 meters) automatic feeding system/loader. These Cold Saws are for large scale production.

Testimonials from Other Machines:

RMT COLD SAW REV 8 WEB
  • What typical applications suit RMT cold saws?

These machines are well-suited for applications requiring high precision on bar stock, tube, solid rod, non-ferrous or ferrous metals. They are especially useful when you need clean, square cuts, minimal burrs, and maintain material integrity for downstream operations (machining, assemblies).

  • What is a Cold Saw and how does it differ from a bandsaw?

A Cold Saw uses a circular blade with teeth designed for high precision, producing clean, burr-free cuts with minimal heat transfer. Unlike bandsaws, cold saws cut faster and are ideal for tight tolerances and smooth finishes.

  • What materials can RMT Cold Saws cut?

RMT Cold Saws can cut mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals. With the right blade selection, you can also process hardened materials and exotic alloys.

  • Can I use standard cold saw blades with an RMT Cold Saw?

Yes, RMT Cold Saws use industry-standard blade sizes and arbors. However, for optimal results, RMT can recommend premium blades tuned to your specific material and cutting speed.

  • What kind of maintenance is required?

Routine cleaning, lubrication, and periodic gearbox oil checks are key. Our saws are designed for minimal maintenance — but keeping blades sharp and ensuring coolant systems are clean will maximize performance.

  • What safety features are included?

Each machine includes blade guards, automatic shutoff, two-hand operation (on select models), and emergency stop systems to ensure operator safety.

  • What return on investment (ROI) benefits can you expect?

Because cold saws from RMT provide higher accuracy, lower secondary finishing, faster setup, fewer rejects, and less wear/downtime (compared to bandsaws in certain jobs), they can reduce cost-per-cut and improve throughput. One customer testimonial cited cutting 1,000 pieces in 4 hours on an RMT cold saw, compared to 3.5 days and two bandsaw blades previously.

  • Are RMT cold saws highly customizable?

Yes — RMT cold saws are highly customizable. You can select from multiple series ranging from semi‑automatic to fully automatic servo feed models, add optional material handling and lubrication systems, and configure features like automatic clamping, feeding, and speed controls to match your production requirements.

  • How do I know which model I need?

To choose the right RMT cold saw model:

    • Start with the largest material size you’ll cut regularly.

    • Choose a series based on your production volume and automation needs — S‑FAB CLD for semi‑automatic work, S‑SMART HSC for automatic feeding in high volume, and S‑GENIUS HSC for large‑scale continuous production.

    • Finally, match any optional features (material handling tables, advanced lubrication, etc.) to your workflow to maximize efficiency.

  • How efficient are RMT Cold Saws in production environments?

RMT cold saws are highly efficient in production environments. Their automatic servo‑feed models are built for continuous, high‑volume cutting with fast cycle times and consistent, burr‑free results that reduce rework. Automated feeding, long material tables, and long‑life blades also help cut costs and boost throughput compared with manual cutting methods.
