The Must-See Booth at the Must-Visit Show
It’s that time of year again when the leaves approach their seasonal fade from summer’s green. Which means that it’s also the time when future-looking fabricators, engineers, and owners of manufacturing businesses from across the Western Hemisphere assemble at North America’s largest event showcasing the techniques and machines for the manipulation of metal. And once again at this must-visit tradeshow gathers the Revolution Machine Tools team of equipment and service experts to put up their must-see booth spotlighting the cutting-edge cream of the metal fabricating machinery crop.
From September 8–11, 2025, visitors at the FABTECH Expo held at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois, can find the RMT team greeting guests at Booth A2173 on the main central aisle of Hall A in the South Building, where all the “Forming and Fabricating” manufacturers are on display.
Taking advantage of the wide exposure of such a prime location, Revolution Machine Tools is rolling out an impressive sampling of their massive line-up of metal-working marvels this year:
- Out of the 75 models of premier CNC press brakes that they offer, RMT has chosen its RMT B-GENIUS-H 12-250 Hybrid Press Brake to put on display at the show. The brake features a 250-ton capacity, a 12′ bending length, and an advanced 7-axis CNC. This energy-efficient hybrid machine saves 65% of the energy of an equivalent hydraulic brake while using 95% less oil and has a lightning fast—yet whisper quiet—operation.
- From their collection of more than a dozen standard models of fiber lasers for flat sheet and plate cutting, they’ve selected the compact, high performance RMT KYSON SL H44A Fiber Laser for FABTECH this year. Ideal for shops just starting out in laser work, this 6-kW model features a CNC control unit for precision cutting, an automatic sheet detection system, a built-in nozzle cleaner, and a 5.9″ focus length lens for maximum efficiency.
- With 145 different models of plate rolls to choose from, RMT leadership felt that the RMT R-SMART CNC 6-669 Plate Roll would be the right fit for FABTECH. This 6′ 8″ bending length hydraulic 4-roll sports planetary guides to bend large sheet and plate segments smoothly.
- The perfect “accessory” for plate rolling and other plate fabrication, the RMT PBV-FAB 1.57 Plate Beveler uses a milling process for cleaner, faster bevels with less dust and noise and can outpace traditional grinding by a wide margin. The PBV-FAB 1.57 can bevel plates of any length over 10″ with thicknesses ranging from 0.12″ up to 1.58″.
- Having nearly 20 models of profile roll available, RMT decided its RMT A-FAB HD 433 Angle Roll would be just the thing for the 2025 tradeshow. This heavy-duty hydraulic profile bending roll has a 15 HP motor, a 6-32 FPM turning speed, 4.33″ shaft diameters, and 12.4″ roll diameters. Its maximum section modulus is 3.661 in³, and all rolls are driven independently via hydro-motor and gearbox.
- Out of 64 models of hydraulic presses, the Revolution Machine Tools team chose the 220-ton RMT H-SMART C220 Hydraulic Press to travel with them this year. The high precision C-frame single action press has an efficient shop footprint and is ideal for bending, punching, cutting, and straightening.
- With nearly a dozen different models in their exclusive Pipe Spool Master™ line of pipe beveling machines, it was a no-brainer for RMT to choose one of their most versatile and popular models to showcase at the Expo: the RMT TGB24 CNC Pipe Spool Master™. While the entire series turns the process of pipe beveling on its head by rotating the tooling instead of the workpiece for far more accurate, fast, and efficient operations, the TGB models within the series go a step further by offering threading and grooving along with the beveling (hence the “TGB”). This 24″ diameter working capacity model can also perform boring and facing.
- Carrying five models of cold saws and 34 models of horizontal bandsaws, the saw that RMT decided to put on display this year—was none of the above! Debuting at FABTECH 2025 is RMT’s initial entry into the world of vertical band sawing, the new RMT S-FAB VDM 18-18 Vertical Semi-Automatic Bandsaw. Offering an 18″ cutting capacity (round and square), a 5 HP motor, and a ±60° mitering capability, the S-FAB VDM 18-18 also features an automatic control system, a roller table for smooth material flow, and a hydraulic system that adjusts cutting and descent speeds for consistent results.
