The “beginner’s” line of press brakes at RMT are their B-SMART Series, 20 models of sophisticated and highly accurate machines that come standard with three to five axes of CNC.

These robust machines start with a 7-axis standard control and allow optional expansions to over 16 axes managed by the CNC. The flush-floor press brakes in the B-GENIUS Series offer up to 660-tons of bending power and up to 20′ of bending length, plus the ability to run multiple machines in tandem, trio, and even quad formations to accommodate extended bending.
The standard features of RMT B-GENIUS Series press brakes include:
- Delem DA-66T touch screen CNC control unit (with 3D graphical visualization that simulates the bending process and warns of potential collision points)
- 7 Axis CNC: Y1/Y2 precision ram positioning; X/R precision servo-driven back gauge; Z1/Z2 axes; CNC motorized wave crowning
- High-yield plate construction
- Big work area: large open height; large stroke; large throat depth.
- American/European section-style box punch clamps (standard on 440-ton and lower brakes), with American-only style punch clamping available at no charge on those same capacity machines

In addition, every RMT B-GENIUS press brake features name-brand hydraulic and electronic components that are easily replaceable by the user, such as Hoerbiger hydraulic blocks and valves and electronic systems from Siemens, Schneider, and Mitsubishi.
