B-GIANT Press Brake

“One Size Fits All” might be a good slogan in selling tube socks, but any good press brake manufacturer will offer customers not only a range of sizes, but also of styles of machine to fit their exacting fabrication needs. Revolution Machine Tools is such a company, offering nearly 60 models of press brakes across three machine styles and nearly three dozen sizes — not counting custom machines that can be built to specific length and tonnage requirements.

The RMT brand of press brakes from Revolution Machine Tools are more than just “good” brakes or even “quality” ones, however. These finely crafted machines are engineered with excellence in mind, offering fabricators the highest caliber of press brake performance found in the industry today.

What are the advantages of RMT press brakes over standard brakes in the market? Here is an A to Z guide to why our innovative press brakes truly are “revolutionary” machines.

Accurate. World-class engineers are continually perfecting the state-of-the-art design that goes into each of our RMT press brakes, guaranteeing customers cutting-edge performance that outclasses the competition. Our cylinders are synchronized to provide smooth motion and exact ram positions to accuracies of .0004″ and all of our brakes also come standard with high quality Delem controls for precise CNC operations during each and every job.

Affordable. RMT’s “lower end” press brakes are anything but cheap in quality. Our high-precision press brakes in our B-SMART series offer CNC control of three axes (Y1, Y2 and an X-axis back gauge) and are affordable enough to be the perfect machine for the small to midsize shop (or large shops that need a “spare” machine for occasional extra work). Available in 6′ to 20′ lengths and a range of tonnage from 67 to 500-tons, these workhorse brakes have proven themselves in the industry and are by far our most popular models. Additionally, our multi-axis B-GENIUS series and large format B-GIANT series are highly competitive in price.

Bigger Bends. Have a part that needs deep bends or requires long tooling? Look no further than RMT, where our press brakes offer an open space design bigger than typical machines on the market. The longer stroke lengths, deeper throat sizes and larger open heights of all of our standard models will help you achieve the bends you need, without having to order a custom machine. We even mount our ram guides on the outside of our frames to help you accommodate deeper flanges on parts.

Customizable. Just because a fabricator usually doesn’t have to order a custom machine from RMT to take care of their jobs doesn’t mean we don’t offer them. If our listed models fall short of the length or tonnage you need, we can have a larger press brake built for you, even beyond 40′ in length or 4000-tons in capacity. Specialized engineering is available where needed, and our standard models are highly customizable to be able to be configured for the projects you have on your schedule. Are all the machines in your shop painted your company colors? That’s not a problem either — give us the color codes and we can have your new press brake painted to match right on the factory’s production floor.

Efficient. Our engineers continuously review the designs of our press brakes to determine if anything might hamper a fabricator’s efficiency, and they also listen closely to end-user feedback to retool each succeeding run of brakes to be even more efficient than the last. At RMT, we make it a priority to help our customers be as productive as absolutely possible.

Fast. Each of our RMT press brakes feature dual hydraulic cylinders on either side of the ram for faster approach speeds, and our brakes also provide high bending and return speeds for quicker turnover of each part that is bent. Available options such as more axes under CNC control, hydraulic or mechanical tool clamping systems or automated material handling can speed up your production even more.

Reliable. RMT press brakes are built to last, with frames made from single blocks of mill-certified, high-yield steel. These extremely solid machines perform accurately and reliably year after year, and we guarantee that reliability with a 10-year warranty offered with all of our standard brakes.

Revolutionary. Unlike some press brake sellers who only care about a customer long enough to deposit a check in the bank, the management and staff of Revolution Machine Tools are absolutely dedicated to help our customers succeed. It is this passion that defines every aspect of our press brake sales, from the ground-up design by expert engineers of each brake to the support we provide each customer before, during and long after the sale. Innovative design backed by a committed team make RMT machines the most revolutionary press brakes you can find on the market today.

Safe. Our customers’ success depends largely on the safety of their operators and bystanders, so RMT press brakes are designed with features to maximize safety during operation, often exceeding industry standards. An example is the ram-mounted AKAS-LC Safety Light Guard, which is located at the bending level and follows the location of the punch tip to instantly stop the operation when a foreign body (like an operator’s fingers) interrupts the beam between the transmitter and receiver.

Support. Every RMT press brake comes with support, and not just the two to four front support arms that are standard with each model. When Revolution Machine Tools sells a press brake or any other fabrication machine, we consider our customers our partners and we pledge to them to stand behind our machines to make sure they run efficiently for years to come. The RMT service team is available for consults and on-site maintenance alike, to make sure every RMT machine performs to our customers’ expectations.

World-Class Components. The hydraulic and electronic components in RMT press brakes that occasionally need to be replaced aren’t strange, off-brand ones. We build our machines with world-class components that are well-known for their quality and are easily replaceable off-the-shelf from your local supplier (but please give us a call and see if we can save you money on them). Such industry giants such as Siemens, Schneider and Mitsubishi provide the parts for our electrical systems, while our hydraulic blocks and valves come from Hoerbiger.

Z-Axis and More. Our B-GENIUS press brakes not only come standard with precision Y1/Y2 ram positioning and X/R servo-driven back gauges but offer the option of increasing up to 14 — or more — axes. These include: Z1, Z2 axes; X1, X2 axes; R1, R2 axes; X Prime axis (Delta X); sheet followers with sliding guides and motorized height adjustment; front feeding systems with supports and pneumatic pushers and more. Please talk with an RMT machine consultant for a full list of available options for any of our models.
